Ten soft buffing wheels on 1/8 inch shanks. These carry the compound and bring the surface up.

Wheels are the part that wears out. A wheel packed with spent compound stops cutting and starts smearing, so a fresh one is the difference between a haze and a mirror.
They are sold on their own as well as at checkout, so a fresh pack is a small order rather than a reason to buy anything else again.
